Golf fixtures announced

Dear golfing Coachmakers

We are very excited about this years events with now five matches established in our calendar. Our first is the annual spring meeting at the New Zealand GC in Woking on Tuesday 7th April.

Last year we had 20 players and expect the same or more this April. We share the day with our friends from the Leathersellers. All golfers are encouraged to play and do please bring a guest with you.

We begin with coffee/tea and bacon rolls before 18 holes of foursomes against the bogey card, followed by a sumptuous carvery lunch and a further 12 holes. Prizes and afternoon tea rounds off a splendid day’s entertainment.

All of the above is at £185 per player including prizes.

Our next event is the Leather Livery match played again this year at Royal Wimbledon GC with a minimum of four players to represent the Coachmakers.

It is a similar format to the spring meeting – except no guests, a hearty breakfast, 18 holes followed by tea. As above, please apply again via Alex.

A new date for your diary is 1st July at Piltdown GC, where again we will play in a match with other ‘leathery’ Livery Companies. We need a minimum of four Coachmakers – more news to follow as the new match takes shape.
