Support the 350th anniversary of the Coachmakers

Our long anticipated 350th Charter celebration year commenced earlier this month at the Election Court with the installation of Mark Broadbent as Master of our Livery.

The Master has high ambitions for this anniversary year. “I shall do my utmost to ensure that the coming 12 months bring celebration and fellowship to our members, while advancing the aim of the Company to invest in young people.”

Now is your chance to get involved with the events taking place during the next 12 months, by becoming a 1677 supporter.

There are two opportunities:

The 1677 Patrons’ Circle

The 1677 Patrons’ Circle brings together a small group of individuals, families and well-wishers who wish to make a significant personal contribution to the success and legacy of the 350th anniversary year.

As a Patron you will play a leading role in enabling the Company to celebrate its heritage while investing in its future. Membership of this small and exclusive Circle is intended for those who share the Company’s passion for craftsmanship, engineering, innovation, heritage and the development of future generations. Thus, ensuring the anniversary creates a legacy lasting well beyond 2027.

Patrons will receive:

• Recognition as a 1677 Patrons’ Circle member throughout the anniversary year.
• Acknowledgement in the official 350th anniversary programme.
• An invitation for the Patron and a guest to an exclusive event during the anniversary year.
• Opportunities to meet members of the Company and young people benefiting from the Coachmakers’ support.
• Recognition within a permanent anniversary record/roll of honour in The Coachmaker,
our annual company review.

The 1677 Patrons’ Circle will recognise donors of £2,000 or more.

1677 Associates

The 1677 Associates offers a larger number of members, friends, and well-wishers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our historic anniversary. By joining, you will become part of a community committed to celebrating the Company’s distinguished past and helping to secure its future. Collectively, 1677 Associates’ gifts will make an important contribution to the anniversary programme and to the Company’s wider educational and heritage ambitions.

As a 1677 Associate you will be acknowledged in the official anniversary programme and selected commemorative materials.

1677 Associates has a suggested donation of at least £100.

The Master encourages you to take this chance to join and support our 350th celebrations by becoming a 1677 Patron or 1677 Associate today by clicking on the QR code.
