Master’s message October 2020

Master Sarah Jane Adams-Diffey delivers her monthly message from Ivan Dutton Ltd.

The foreword to the book is written by our very own Liveryman, Hugh Conway, who is Chairman of the Bugatti Trust.

Ettore Bugatti both designed and manufactured coaches and coach harnesses. He designed four horse drawn carriages between 1910 and 1920. The harnesses were probably made by Hermes in Paris and include the EB monogram with his coaching colours of black and yellow on the brow bands. The hardware and ivory-lined turrets are silver clad, and the collars are covered with white doe skins. Luxury indeed!
