Join us on LinkedIn to help achieve our goals

If there is one area that the pandemic has accelerated more than most, it is digital transformation. We have all experienced seismic shifts where entire businesses have shifted to remote working whilst social interactions are maintained through the use of technologies such as Zoom and Teams. Never has the use of digital solutions been more accessed and accessible, and whilst we do not expect this current reality to become our ‘new normal’ we can all expect the increased use of these services to persist, with more organisations and institutions using the power of technology to achieve their outcomes. And it is with this in mind that the Finance and General Purposes Committee and the Court have agreed to use LinkedIn as our chosen social media platform to support us in achieving three outcomes:

  • Expanding our business connections
  • Promoting our charitable activities to a wider audience
  • Reporting on the general work and events of the company

So what does this mean for you?

If you are a LinkedIn user please may we ask you to complete the following three tasks:

Step 1: ‘Follow’ our Linked In Group

· The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers

Step 2: Update your profile to reference your involvement in The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers (e.g. under experience or volunteer experience)

Step 3: Connect with other Coachmakers and start ‘liking’, sharing and commenting on content.

If you are not a LinkedIn user then we encourage you all to sign up at www.linkedin.com.

We plan to send out additional communications on LinkedIn during the coming months so please keep a look out, however in the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact the Comms Committee mailbox Comms@coachmakers.co.uk
