In memory – Liveryman John Durdin

Notified to us by his nephew, Liveryman Tim Durdin, former Liveryman John Durdin passed away on the 20th of December 2023, aged 97 years.

John joined the Coachmakers’ Company in the mid to late 1970s and was clothed in the Livery in 1978. He stepped down as an active member of the Company in 2008.

He died at home with his family at his side just days after learning that his prostate cancer had spread. His funeral was held on Monday the 15th of January 2024 at St Mary’s Church, Baconsthorpe in Norfolk. May he rest in peace.
