17th July @ 11:00 am2:00 pm

£25.00

A guided tour of the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace: home to royal carriages and cars and one of the finest working stables in the world.

Meet: 11am sharp at The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 0QH

Dress: Smart casual

We have been granted the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Royal Mews, organised via the Company’s contacts within the coaching world. The mews is responsible for the storage, housing, maintenance and feeding of the Royal family’s cars, historic carriages and ceremonial horses.

It will be a first class opportunity for an exciting ‘behind the scenes’ look at garages, stables and a celebration of the world’s finest working coaches and harnesses. Surely a ‘must see’ for any 21st century Coachmaker?

The visit will finish at 1pm, at which point Liverymen and their guests will adjourn to a local hostelry for a hearty lunch.

The cost of the visit is £25 per head, excluding lunch which will be paid for on an individual basis. Coachmakers and guests are welcome to attend on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that restrictions and control measures are currently in place to manage the current outbreak of equine influenza. Livery members’ details will be required by the palace prior to the visit.

Livery members and guests must also bring official identification (passport or driving licence – the latter preferred).
