The Coachmakers’ Charity Challenge

1st April30th April

Fundraising together as an active livery investing in young people

What is the Coachmakers’ Charity Challenge?

The Master, Wardens and Court cordially invite all Liverymen to take up the Coachmakers’ Charity Challenge to help fundraise as much money as possible for the Coachmakers’ Charitable Trust during the month of April. And you will be glad to know it does not involve strenuous exercise!

Why are we asking?

To enable us to increase the number of scholarships, bursaries, apprenticeships and awards made to young people from across our coachmaking, automotive and aerospace industries. The funds raised from this challenge will be used to increase the level of support that can be made to them each year.

How can you help?

Participation in the Coachmakers’ Charity Challenge is simple. Please may we ask you to make a donation in units of giving of £100 that can be made by all Coachmakers in lieu of the ticket price that you might otherwise have spent on attending our 5 wonderful major dinners and 2 grand banquets, all cancelled due to the pandemic during the past 12 months.

The number of units available for purchase during April is boundless, so feel free to donate as many units as you are able. The addition of Gift Aid will increase the amount donated by a further 25%.

It is hoped that you will agree, the attraction of the challenge is that it is not limited to those who might regularly attend dinners and events, but is open to all Coachmakers to help make a real difference to the Charitable Trust fund programme that we action and distribute on your behalf, as Coachmakers.

Thank you!
