We have been especially granted the opportunity to meet and dine on board the Royal Yacht Britannia, accompanied by a guided tour of this majestic vessel. Britannia was in service from 1954 until 1997. For 44 years she conveyed HM The Queen and other members of the Royal Family on 696 foreign visits and 272 visits in British waters, steaming over one million nautical miles.
The evening will commence with Champagne and canapés in the State Drawing Room, followed by a captivating private tour of Britannia’s State Apartments, giving an insight into how the Royal Family and crew lived and worked on board. A four-course dinner will be served in the elegant State Dining Room, in which Her Majesty entertained royalty, heads of government and other dignitaries across the globe. The meal will be served by Britannia’s butlers and prepared in the Royal Galley, which historically catered for the Royal Family and guests.
The cost of the evening’s entertainment is only £195 a head, and as a memorable finale to the evening, should Coachmakers so wish, some very specially priced cabins, have been reserved for us on Fingal, Scotland’s only luxury floating hotel situated in the adjacent Albert Dock Basin.
