Coachmakers’ visit to the Heritage Skills Academy Bicester

The Heritage Skills Academy is situated within the Bicester Heritage complex.

A chance for a private viewing of the Skills Academy to observe the work and training carried out with apprentices working in the historic vehicle and historic motor car industry.

In addition, a visit to a number of specialist operations employed in the restoration and preservation of historic and classic motor cars.

10.30-1100 – Arrive at BH; Coffee on arrival

1100 – Welcome to BH from Freeman Dan Geoghegan, CEO of Bicester Heritage

1130 – Introduction to Heritage Skills Academy and insight to HSA

Tour of BH and meetings with four specialists (Kingsbury Racing; Blue Diamond; Upholstery specialist ‘Harry’ and Magneto specialist ‘Karl’)

1230-1300 – Lunch (picnic box prepared by on site caterers Heroics Café)

1300-1400 – Meet back at HSA for a Q+A along with further detail and insight into the working of the academy

1400-1500 – Visit the (on site) Wriggly Monkey Brewery for a tour and refreshment
