You are invited to join a City walking tour followed by lunch.
Meet at Barbican Tube entrance 10.45am
Walking tour
The tour will commence from Barbican tube station at 10.45am prompt. This will be followed by a walking tour of the City hosted by one of the 200 official London Tour Guides, Simon Whitehouse, who was such a popular host of previous events. The walk will focus on Medieval London starting at the Barbican, around Smithfield via St Paul’s, and down to Blackfriars. The tour will also include a visit to the Church of St Bartholomew the Great which as many may already know has a spectacular interior. The tour will conclude at Blackfriars at approximately 1:15pm.
25 places are available for the event at a cost of £27.50 pp, with any surplus going to the Coachmakers’ 350+ Fund.
Lunch
After the walking tour, lunch will be taken at a nearby pub. Places will be pre-booked but payment will be the responsibility of those attending on the day.
Dress code: Casual, prepared for the weather and walking a reasonable distance.
