Could your business help us support the next generation of engineers?
Many of us in the Livery are involved in the automotive, aerospace, and heritage skills sectors. Did you know that you can help Coachmakers address the industry’s growing skills gap simply by making an introduction?
The Coachmakers’ student awards programme has been supporting young engineers, technicians and designers for more than 40 years. We provide vital financial support to talented young people who might otherwise be unable to pursue careers in our industries. However, demand for funding far exceeds what we can currently provide.
We are looking for corporate partners to help us by funding (and naming) new awards. Sponsoring a Coachmakers’ award is an opportunity for your business to:
- Grow the talent pipeline by helping students access education and training.
- Gain brand recognition among top engineering students and leading academic institutions.
- Engage employees through mentoring, selection panels and industry networking.
- Enhance your own corporate social responsibility programme by supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
How you can help
Do you own, work for, or have connections with a business that is committed to investing in future engineering talent? A warm introduction from you could make all the difference. To help demonstrate the benefits of engaging with the Coachmakers, we have put together a slide deck that sets out the opportunity and would be happy to work with you to make an approach.
Please drop the Fundraising Committee a line on charity@coachmakers.com. Together we can inspire the next generation.
