Clerk’s notes – in with the new

Lieutenant Colonel Craig Hallatt has been appointed as the 29th Clerk to the Coachmakers’ Company.

He is a talented and accomplished member of the Royal Corps of Army Music and is completing 39 years of service, retiring from his current position as the Principal Director of Music (Army). He has extensive experience and success in planning and executing important ceremonial events, including royal visits, and managing business relationships with the Royal Household. He has served with the Welsh Guards and the Household Cavalry and deployed on operations to Afghanistan.

He lives in Rochester in Kent with his wife Deborah and their two children, Aaron age 17 and Samuel age 14.

With effect from 1st August 2024, Craig will be the man at the end of the Clerk’s email address: clerk@coachmakers.co.uk and it will be he who answers the phone: 07905 089841.
