HMS PRESIDENT occupies one of the most coveted positions in the heart of London, just downstream of Tower Bridge, overlooking the entrance to St Katharine Docks and the Coachmakers has been granted sole use of the Wardroom by kind permission of Lieutenant Commander Edward Bingham VR RNR, the Executive Officer of the establishment.
Therefore you are invited to join the Master for drinks and supper and an up-to-date briefing on what the Royal Navy is doing today, presented by Commodore R J A Bellfield CBE ADC Royal Navy, Commander Naval Regional Command Eastern England and members of his presentation team.
The outline programme is as follows:
1800 – Guests start to arrive
1830 – Drinks reception
1900 – Naval engagement element of the evening to include briefings and interaction with RN personnel
1950 – On the day of the 40th anniversary of the retaking of South Georgia, discover what really happened later that night
2000 – Hot Buffet Supper with wine
2130 – Guests depart
Dress code: Jacket and tie; ladies equivalent.
