Sports update: Shooting

The Coachmakers has assembled a team for the upcoming Inter Livery Clayshooting competition on 17th May. The annual Inter Livery Charity Clay Shoot held at Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds is an event where the Livery Companies of the City of London go head to head, fielding their best guns in an enjoyable day’s shooting. Whilst there is definitely an air of competition, it’s also about raising money for charity whilst having a great day. The majority of participants are from all walks of the shooting fraternity and merely enjoy the occasion, the venue and the quality of the sporting layout itself.

As summer is slowly but surely approaching, a summer get together is very much on the cards for the Coachmakers. It has been difficult to align very busy diaries to allow a full team for a Coachmakers-only simulated day. However, an afternoon’s shooting followed by BBQ is the next planned event for August, date is to be confirmed.
