Master Coachmaker Mark Broadbent

As the Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers begins the celebration of its 350th anniversary, it is particularly appropriate that the recently-elected new Master Mark Broadbent should be a practising coach maker and skilful carriage restorer.

Additionally, Mark is a talented horseman and a highly accomplished team driver, with considerable experience in both the adrenaline-fuelled sport of horse driving trials and the more traditional world of private driving and coaching.

The Company’s charter was originally granted by King Charles II in 1677 and this anniversary year promises to be a truly memorable one with numerous events and activities celebrating our history and looking forward to our future as an active Livery investing in young people.
