Inter-Livery Croquet Day 2022

The Worshipful Company of Glovers of London is pleased to announce that the next Inter-Livery Croquet Day will be held at Sussex County Croquet Club in Southwick, West Sussex on 10th June 2023.

This year’s competition was greatly enjoyed by all the competitors and was hard fought before the team from the Leathersellers’ was announced victorious and retained the Glovers’ Cup. I am sure they will be keen to defend their title next year.

Livery companies will be able to submit one or two teams to compete for the Glovers’ Cup. In addition to, or instead of, entering the Glovers’ Cup, companies can enter teams in the “Inter- Livery Challenge” that will take place on the same day. This competition is for first-time or occasional players for whom, as before, explanation and direction will be provided. Each company may enter a maximum of three teams across both competitions.

I am not able to receive entries at this stage. This announcement is to ensure those livery companies who are likely to take part can include the date in their calendar of events. Entries will be accepted in order of date received after the opening date for application, which is yet to be announced.
