In memory – Liveryman Sir John Collyear

Liveryman Sir John Collyear passed away peacefully on 19th March 2024, aged 97.

He was a senior figure in the motor industry and in the late 1980s, served as President of MIRA.

Sir John joined the Coachmakers’ Company back in 1978, and although we’d not seen him in person for some time, he had been living with his daughter for a year and had still been active until his passing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends.
