Coachmakers welcomes new recruits
At the Election Court held on 1st September at Tallow Chandlers’ Hall, we welcomed one new member who was clothed in the Livery and four new Freemen, reports Hon Assistant Lesley Upham.
Kerry Wilson lives with his partner Lily in Southam, Warwickshire. Educated in Solihull, Kerry is a consult and NED for a number of venture capitalist companies. He is a historic motor sport competitor, one of only three people running Jaguar Land Rover classics. What spare time he has he spends looking after his own car collection and gardening to maintain standards for when his garden is open to the public.
Freeman Sir Aubrey Brocklebank Bt.
Sir Aubrey Brocklebank and his partner Fiona hail from Northamptonshire. Educated at Eton and Durham, Aubrey is a director of a number of companies and also Treasurer of the Standing Council of The Baronetage. His interests include classic cars, motor racing and shooting.
Freeman Philip Strickland
Philip and his partner Sue live in Riseley, Bedfordshire. Now semi-retired, Philip’s love of all thing motoring can be seen by some of his previous appointments including as Chairman of Brooklands Trust Members, Regional Chairman and Board Director of Bentley Drivers’ Club and Chairman of Benjafields Racing Club.
When not involved in motorsport, Philip’s interests are the theatre, photography, early recording machines and jazz.
Freeman Krishan Sharma
Krishan lives in London. He was educated at King Henry VIII School and attended the University of Birmingham where he studied Economics & Political Science and International Business. Working as a data analyst, he has a wide range of interests including automotive restoration, American football, boxing, hockey and coding.
Freeman Philip Sunley
Philip and his wife Monique live in Chichester, West Sussex. He studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Sunderland and took an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration at Durham University. Philip is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. His free time is spent playing squash, hiking and walking. Philip has an interest in classic cars and is an MG Midget owner.
