A word from the Master

We live in uncertain times and have to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances. We are determined that whenever possible the business of the Livery will continue, even if the social side will have to suffer, hopefully in the short term.

As things stand, we have postponed the Automotive Dinner until 1st July. All other Livery functions and future gatherings will remain under review on a daily basis, but sadly we are cancelling functions due to take place in March and April. I am however particularly disappointed that we have had to take the difficult decision to postpone the Guildhall Banquet on 28th May. As you will read in Mark the Clerk’s notes, we have secured a date later in the summer and will just have to keep our fingers crossed that things will look brighter before then. Please put these new dates in your diaries.

Thank you for your forbearance in these challenging times. Look out for your fellow Liverymen, especially those who are more vulnerable to this virus. Give them a call or drop them an email to see how they are.
