Red Cross – Jailed and Bailed
Dear Liveryman,
I was fortunate to avoid incarceration when I visited the Old Bailey
last month, however, this time I am not so lucky and my past has caught
up with me. On Friday 21st May I am to be arrested at the Mansion House
with a number of other even more worthy reprobates, including the Lord
Mayor. We will be transported by the City of London Police to the Tower
of London where I will be imprisoned pending bail. On the condition that
I raise £1,000 in bail in support of the Red Cross I will be released
by 2pm that day. I will be a free man once more... but if not then it’s
goodnight Vienna, London and all else I hold dear.
